Ambassador Jaime Giron Duarte is Diplomatic Career, has a degree in Economics and Business Administration.
Similarly, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, has been among others, Deputy Minister for Multilateral Affairs. Director General of Political Economical and Social Multilateral Organizations and Conferences. Deputy Director of Politics affairs and Assistant Secretary for International Organizations and Conferences.
Has held positions in the foreign services, as Ambassador of Colombia to the government the Republic of Kenya. Ambassador of Colombia to the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Minister Plenipotentiary to the United Nations in New York, Alternate Representative of Colombia to the Security Council of O.N.U, First Secretary at the Embassy of Colombia to the government of India, Second Secretary at the Embassy of Colombia to the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Mr. Gonzalez holds a degree as a Professional on International Relations from the “Fundación Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano de Bogotá”, as well as diplomas on Diplomacy and International Law (Diplomatic Academy Andres Bello in Chile) and on International Relations (Diplomatic Academy of San Carlos – Bogotá, D.C.)
Mr. Gonzalez is functionary of the Diplomatic Career of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia. His diplomatic experience includes the Consulates in Mexico, D.F., New York, Atlanta and the Embassy of Colombia before the Government of Jamaica.
